October 2026 Diseases in the herbaceous and vegetable garden

 

Brian Hudelson spoke by zoom on “DoubleTrouble: Diseases in the Vegetable and Herbaceous Ornamental Garden” at our October meeting.  There are some really scary things out there!  He emphasized that mildew and some other issues need prevention rather that cure.  Determine when they start to appear in your landscape and then use commercial or homemade treatments every 7 to 10 days throughout the season.
